McLennan Highlanders defeat Meridian in extra innings

The McLennan Highlanders defeated the Meridian Eagles 4-3 in extra innings in their final game of the Panama City Beach College Baseball Classic. Cooper Hrbacek got the win on the mound.
 
All three of the Meridian runs came in the top of the second inning. Blake Priester doubled and scored on Banks Hyde's home run. Dalton McIntyre then drew a walk, stole second and scored on a single by Brennan Study.
 
McLennan's first run came in the bottom of the third as Jake D'Altrui tripled and scored on a single by Tyler Johnson.
 
The Highlanders tied the game with two runs in the bottom of the fourth. Jason Hawkins singled and Karson Krowka reached on an error. Both runners advanced on a passed ball. Hawkins scored on a ground out by D'Altrui. Johnson then singled to score Krowka.
 
The game remained tied at three after the scheduled seven innings of play. With international tiebreaker rules in effect, Rodric Black began the bottom of the ninth inning on second base. Black moved to second on a sacrifice bunt and scored on a passed ball to give McLennan the win.
