33 McLennan athletes named to NJCAA All-Academic Team, four teams recognized

Student-athletes from five McLennan teams were recognized on the 2023-24 NJCAA All-Academic Teams. To be recognized, student-athletes must achieve a 3.60 GPA or higher for the academic year. McLennan placed 33 student-athletes on the list. Baseball and Softball led the way with 12 honorees each, followed by women's golf with five, men's golf with three and men's basketball with one. A total of 12,245 student-athletes from across the nation were honored.

Student-athletes are placed on one of three teams based on the GPA achieved: First Team (4.0 GPA), Second Team (3.80-3.99 GPA) and Third Team (3.60-3.79 GPA). McLennan placed 11 on the First Team, 12 on the Second Team and 10 on the Third Team.
