McLennan Baseball holding steady at No. 3 in NJCAA poll

The McLennan Highlanders are No. 3 in the NJCAA Division I Baseball Poll for the second consecutive week.

Chipola (Florida) moved into the top spot this week, followed by Cowley (Kansas) at No. 2. Iowa Western remained at No. 4 and Wabash Valley (Illinois) moved up one spot to No. 5. Central Arizona, the previous No. 1, fell to No. 6.

Odessa, a Region V opponent of the Highlanders, moved up four spots to No. 14 this week. Weatherford, a conference opponent for McLennan, moved up a spot to No. 16. Grayson went from receiving votes  to No. 20 in this week's poll. San Jacinto-North is receiving votes.
 
McLennan has an overall record of 9-2 and will begin a three-game series with Navarro at 2 p.m. Friday at Bosque River Ballpark.
