Highlanders slip to No. 6 in NJCAA rankings

The McLennan Highlanders slipped three spots to No. 6 in this week's NJCAA Division I Baseball Rankings.

Walters State moved into the top spot this week, followed by Central Arizona down one spot to No. 2. Wabash Valley, Chipola and Crowder each moved a spot to No. 3, No. 4, and No. 5, respectively.

San Jacinto, a non-conference opponent of the Highlanders, moved up three spots to No. 15 this week. Grayson, a conference opponent of McLennan, jumped two spots to No. 18 this week. Alvin is the only other Texas team in the rankings, falling four spots to No. 20 this week. Panola is receiving votes.
