McLennan Highlanders up to No. 5 in NCJAA Rankings
The McLennan Highlanders moved up one spot to No. 5 in this week's NJCAA Division I Rankings. The squad has an overall record of 32-9-1 and are leading the conference with a record of 17-3.
Walters State continues to hold the top spot. Wabash Valley, Chipola and Crowder all moved up one spot to take the No.2-No. 4 slots. Central Arizona, the previous No. 2, fell to No. 6 this week.
Other Texas teams in the rankings include: San Jacinto, down one spot to No. 16, and Grayson, up one spot to No. 17. Alvin is receiving votes along with New Mexico, a Region V opponent of the Highlanders.
McLennan travels to Temple Wednesday for a noon doubleheader with the Leopards and will complete the four-game series with Temple Saturday with a noon doubleheader at Bosque River Ballpark.
