The McLennan Highlanders, with a record of 12-4, are No. 3 in the first NJCAA Division I Rankings of the 2023 regular season.

Central Florida sits atop the poll with a record of 19-1, followed by Walters State (Tennessee) at No. 2 with a 15-2 record.

San Jacinto, the Highlanders' opponent next Monday, is No. 7 with a record of 11-6. Weatherford, Blinn and Navarro are all receiving votes.
