McLennan Softball jumps into NJCAA top-10

The McLennan Softball squad, with an overall record of 24-8, jumped two spots to No. 9 in this week's NJCAA Division I Rankings.

Florida SouthWestern (33-3) and Grayson (Texas), with a 28-4 record, both moved up a spot to No. 1 and No. 2, respectively, this week. Northwest Florida State (36-4), the previous No. 1, fell two spots to No. 3. Walters State (Tennessee) and Wallace State (Alabama) remained at No. 4 and No. 5 with records of 30-0 and 24-4, respectively.

Other Texas schools in the ratings include: Odessa, 28-4, remaining at No. 6; Galveston, 28-4, remaining at No. 12; and Weatherford, 24-7, remaining at No. 20. Temple continues to receive votes.
