Johnson named regional Coach of the Year

McLennan Baseball's Tyler Johnson was named the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/ATEC NJCAA Division I Southwest Region Coach of the Year. In just his second year as head coach of the Highlander squad, Johnson led the team to a second-place finish in the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference, a Region V Championship and a berth in the NJCAA Division I World Series in Grand Junction, Colorado. The team finished the season with an overall record of 43-19.
