Highlander Baseball's Ty Waid was selected as the NTJCAC Position Player of the Week. The freshman from Texarkana, Arkansas, had a .429 average with four home runs and 10 RBI, including going 3-4 at the plate with three home runs and seven RBI in the 23-10 win over Temple.
