Lachance named NJCAA Player of the Week

McLennan Baseball's Deiten Lachance was named the NJCAA Division I Baseball Player of the Week for his performance in last week's regional series with the #12 Midland Chaparrals. The sophomore from Sherbrooke, Quebec, had a .375 batting average in the two games, and hit a three-run homer late in game two to give the #17 Highlanders the 3-2 win to advance to the Southwest District Championship tournament.
