Baseball slips in poll

Highlander Baseball (12-5) slipped eight spots to No. 11 this week.
 
Chipola (Florida), 25-2, remained No. 1, and Johnson County (Kansas), 22-2, remained at No. 2. Cloud County (Kansas), 18-1, moved up two spots to No. 3, and Midland (Texas), 18-2, moved up three sports to No. 4. Blinn (Texas), 15-7, climbed four spots to No. 5.
 
Other Texas teams ranked: San Jacinto, down five spots No. 13, 16-6; and Weatherford, 13-8, entering the poll at No. 23. New Mexico, a Region v opponent, 14-8, slipped eight spots to No. 24. Grayson is receiving votes.
