Highlander Baseball move up in polls

Highlander Baseball moved up three spots to No. 8 this week with a 16-5 record at polling time. The Highlanders defeated Tyler this afternoon to improve to 17-5.
 
Johnson County (Kansas) moved up one spot to No. 1 with a 26-2 record with Chipola (Florida) fell to No. 2 with a 26-3 record. Midland (Texas), 22-2, Blinn (Texas), 18-7, and Florida Southwestern State, 23-6, all moved up one spot to No. 4-5, respectively. Cloud County (Kansas) slipped three spots to No. 6 with a 22-2 record.
 
Other Texas teams ranked: San Jacinto, up one to No. 12, 19-6; and Weatherford, 15-10, up one spot to No. 22. New Mexico, a Region V opponent, 16-10, slipped one spot to No. 25.
