Highlanders earn All-Conference & All-Region honors

Four members of the Highlander Baseball squad earned 2026 North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference & All-Region V awards.

Pitchers Stevie Doty and Griffin Lewis, and outfielder Brennon Seigler were all First-Team All-Conference & All-Region V selections. Pitcher Charlie Kinkaid was also named a First-Team All-Conference honoree.

Doty, a sophomore right-hander from Kettering, Ohio, has made 14 appearances on the mound with 10 starts this season. He has an 8-1 record with a 2.76 ERA and 58 strikeouts in 58.2 innings of work.

Lewis, a sophomore right-hander from Flower Mound, has 21 appearances with three starts on the mound. He has a 9-1 record with one save, a 2.72 ERA and 73 strikeouts in 59.2 innings.

Seigler, a freshman outfielder from Knoxville, Tennessee, has appeared in 52 games for the Highlanders and leads the team with a .410 batting average. He has recorded 75 hits including 18 doubles and 19 home runs, along with 32 walks, 55 RBI and 68 runs scored.

Kinkaid, a sophomore right-hander from Austin, Texas, has made 18 appearances on the mound with four starts. He has a 4-1 record with a 3.31 ERA and 37 strikeouts in 35.1 innings.

The No. 10 Highlanders travel to No. 25 Odessa for a three-game series to open Region V post-season play. Games are scheduled for 1 p.m. each day beginning Thursday and all games will be streamed live on TSBN at https://tsbnsports.com/click-title-of-game-to-watch/.
