McLennan Dance punches ticket to 2024 NDA Collegiate National Championship

The MCC Dance Company is off to a blazing start to the 2023-24 season with exceptional performances at a pair of summer camps. The team competed at NDA Camp on the campus of Southern Methodist University, becoming the first McLennan team to qualify for nationals after securing a gold-paid bid the 2024 NDA National Championship in Daytona Beach, Florida. Only three of the 16 teams that attended the camp earned a gold bid. The squad also received first place in their team dance and game day performances. Sophomore captains Alyssa Goble and Gabby Lizama, and sophomore Jessica Clarke were named NDA All-Americans.

Six members of the squad attended UDA Camp at Texas State University, earning superior awards in game day and performance along with the Collegiate Recognition Award voted on by the other teams.
