McLennan Dance Team claims ADTS Championships

The McLennan Dance Team claimed first place in Junior College Jazz and second place in Junior College Pom at the American Dance/Drill Team Schools (ADTS) American Collegiate Championships Saturday afternoon at the University of North Texas. The squad was also awarded first place Overall Junior College.

McLennan will host Nationals Showoffs at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 2, at The Highlands on the MCC campus. The event will include performance by McLennan, Sam Houston State, Stephen F. Austin and Spotlight Dance Company.

The Dance Team will compete in the NDA Collegiate Championships April 9-11 in Daytona Beach, Florida.
