Highlanders' Gurley signs Letter of Intent with Texas State

McLennan Community College basketball guard Isaiah Gurley signed a National Letter of Intent this afternoon, solidifying his plans to continue his academic and athletic careers at Texas State University next fall.

The sophomore from Brooklyn, New York, was second on the Highlanders' squad with a 17.9 points-per-game average.  He earned both first-team all-conference and all-region selections and was named the conference Newcomer of the Year.
