Highlanders' Anderson earns NTJCAC Player of the Week award

For the third consecutive week, a McLennan Highlander has been named the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week. Sophomore guard Lorenzo Anderson picked up the award for Nov. 10-16. The Atlanta, Georgia, native scored 51 points in four games last week for a 13.5 average. He also recorded five assists and five steals on the week and was 11-14 from the free-throw line.
 
Sophomore Akili Vining and freshman Chris Pryor earned the honor the previous two weeks.
