McLennan Basketball sweeps awards for Nov. 12-23

McLennan Basketball swept the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference's Player of the Week honors for Nov. 17-23.

Sophomore guard Charnelle Hoof claimed the women's award. The Memphis, Tennessee, native had 16 points with eight rebounds, five assists and three steals against Southern Arkansas Tech on Nov. 20. Then on Nov. 21 against LSU-Eunice, she scored 23 points with nine rebounds, three assists, a steal and a block.

Avion Jackson, a sophomore guard from Humble, got the men's award. He scored 15 points with five rebounds, three assists three steals in the Highlanders' game at Paris.
