McLennan golf team fourth in polls

The McLennan Community College men's golf team remained in fourth in the latest NJCAA Division I Golf Coaches Poll.
 
Odessa continues to hold the top spot, followed by defending national champion Indian Hills in second and Eastern Florida State in third.
 
Western Texas (eighth), New Mexico (14th), Midland (16th) and Paris (18th) round out the NJCAA District 2 colleges ranked in the poll.
 
McLennan sophomore Hunter Shattuck holds steady as one of the Top 5 Players in District 2. Joining Shattuck on the list are Vetle Maroy (Odessa), David Wicks (Midland), Jordan Ayre (New Mexico) and Elliot Fullalove (Western Texas).
 
The Highlanders also hold the fourth spot in the Bushnell Golfweek NJCAA Division I Coaches Poll.
 
Odessa holds the top spot, followed by Indian Hills in second and Eastern Florida State in third. Midland and Western Texas are tied for 10th.
