Highlanders claim District 2 title
The McLennan Highlanders shot 283-274-284 – 841 to finish in first place at the NJCAA District 2 Championship at the par-71, 6,977-yard Diamondback Golf Club in Abilene.
Odessa finished in second place with 277-287-295 – 859, followed by Western Texas in third with 304-276-283 – 863.
Blake Stock shot 66-68-71 – 205 to lead the Highlanders and claim the individual title.

Odessa (868-859 – 1,727), McLennan (900-841 – 1,741), Midland (883-873 – 1,756), New Mexico (890-869 – 1,759) and Western Texas (898-863 – 1,761) will represent District 2.
