McLennan Golf No. 1 in Bushnell Golfweek, Golfstat rankings

The McLennan Highlanders golf team moved into the top spot in the final Bushnell Golfweek NJCAA Division I Coaches Poll of the fall season. McLennan received 58 points in the poll, two spots ahead of Indian Hills (Iowa) with 56, who previously held the top spot in all the previous fall polls.

Midland (Texas) remained in third with 48 points, followed by Iowa Western in fourth with 38 and Western Texas in fifth with 36.

McLennan, Midland, and Western Texas along with New Mexico (eighth) and Odessa (10th) all compete in NJCAA Region V.

In the Golfstat rankings, the same five teams are at the top with Odessa in sixth and New Mexico in ninth.
