Highlanders Golf No. 2 in NJCAA poll

The McLennan men's golf team is No. 2 in the first NJCAA Division I Golf Rankings of the spring season. The Highlanders received 74 points in the poll, four points behind top-ranked Indian Hills (Iowa) with 78. Midland (Texas) comes in at No. 3 with 72 points, followed by Eastern Florida State in fourth with 71 points and Iowa Western in fifth with 63.

Along with McLennan and Midland, other NJCAA Region V squads in the rankings are: Western Texas, sixth, 59 points; Odessa, 10th, 41 points; New Mexico, 17th, 23 points; and Ranger, 18th, 16 points.

The Highlanders will compete in the NMJC Invitational March 19-20 in Hobbs, New Mexico.
