Highlanders' season-opening golf event postponed

The McLennan men's golf team will have to wait a few more weeks to begin the spring season after the postponement of the opening tournament. The Highlanders were scheduled to travel to Victoria this weekend for the Claud Jacobs Invitational hosted by the University of Houston-Victoria. The possibility of inclement weather causing travel hazards and less than ideal course conditions forced tournament organizers to move the event to March 28-29 at the Victoria Country Club. McLennan will now open the spring season with the Ranchland Intercollegiate March 2-3 in Midland.
