McLennan men's golf ranked 11th in NJCAA poll

The McLennan Highlanders are ranked 11th in the latest NJCAA Division I Men's Golf Coaches Poll. The Highlanders fell two spots from their previous ranking of ninth.

Midland (Texas) jumped five spots to No. 1, followed by Hutchinson (Kansas) and Odessa (Texas) both falling one spot to second and third, respectively. Indian Hills (Iowa) moved up one spot to fourth and Eastern Florida State fell from third to fifth.

Ranger and Western Texas, both regional opponents of McLennan Midland, and Odessa, are also ranked. Ranger jumped seven spots into a tied for seventh while Western Texas slipped three sports to ninth. Blinn, the only other Texas school mentioned in the poll, moved up three spots to 17th.

The Highlanders will compete in the Claude Jacobs Invitational March 28-29 in Victoria.
