McLennan men's golf moves up to No. 8 in Bushnell Golfweek poll

The McLennan Highlanders climbed one spot to No.8 in the latest Bushnell Golfweek NJCAA Division I Poll.

Midland (Texas) jumped three spots to No. 1 in the poll, followed by Hutchinson (Kansas), Odessa (Texas) and Indian Hills (Iowa) each slipping one spot to sit in second through fourth. Eastern Florida State remained at No. 5.

McLennan, Midland and Odessa all compete in NJCAA Region V along with Ranger, making an appearance in the poll at No. 10. Western Texas, also from Region V, dropped from the rankings.

The Highlanders are competing in the Claude Jacobs Invitationals beginning Sunday in Victoria.
