Highlander golfers finish in third place at Southwest Championship

The McLennan Highlanders shot 287-285-292 – 864 to finish in third place of the NJCAA Southwest Championship in Willow Park.
 
Midland finished in first place 287-285-279 – 851, followed by New Mexico in second with 285-289-285 – 859.
 
Shoichiro Kato shot 73-70-70 – 213 to finish in fourth place lead the Highlanders

Scores from the Southwest Championship will be combined with scores from the District II Championship, being played April 25-26 in Brownwood, to determine the four qualifying teams for the NJCAA National Championship.
