Highlander golf squads finish fourth & 14th in home tournament  

The McLennan Orange team shot 292-292-288 – 872, and the Blue team shot 309-315-310 – 934 to finish in fourth and 14th place, respectively, at the Waco River Classic men's tournament hosted by McLennan at Bear Ridge Golf Club in Waco.
 
Midland B claimed the team title with 284-285-278 – 847, followed by New Mexico in second with 288-284-286 – 858 and Midland A in third with 293-290-282 – 865.
 
Sophomore Peter Clark shot 73-70-69 – 212 to lead the Highlanders and finish tied for fifth place. Midland's Max Cavazos and Kyle Kistensamy finished tied atop the individual leaderboard with 70-70-69 – 209 and 69-70-70 – 209, respectively.
