McLennan Highlanders No. 8 in latest Coaches Poll

The McLennan Highlanders are tied Indian Hills (Iowa) at No. 8 in the latest Bushnell/Golfweek NJCAA Division I Coaches Poll released today. McLennan and Indian Hills each received 28 points.

Hutchinson (Kansas) and New Mexico remain in the top two spots with 67 and 59 points, respectively. Dodge City (Kansas) and Midland (Texas) are tied at No. 3 with 39 points each, while Odessa (Texasis No. 5 with 37 points. Eastern Florida State and Western Texas tied at No. 6 with 33 points, and Central Alabama is No. 10 with 16 points. Ranger (Texas) received one point in the poll.

The Highlanders were slated to compete in the Southwest Championship Preview this morning but the event was cancelled due to unplayable course conditions.
