Highlanders climb to No. 5 in Bushnell/Golfweek poll

The McLennan Highlanders jumped three spots to No. 5 in the final Bushnell/Golfweek NJCAA DI Coaches Poll of the fall, receiving 38 points.

New Mexico moved into the top spot with 68 points while Hutchinson (Kansas) fell to No. 2 with 65 points Midland (Texas) and Dodge City (Kansas) are third and fourth with 41 and 40 points, respectively.

Western Texas and Odessa are the only other Texas schools in the top-10, coming in at seventh and ninth. Ranger is receiving votes. All the Texas schools compete in the NJCAA South Central District along with New Mexico.
