Highlanders No. 4 in Bushnell poll

The McLennan Highlanders are No. 4 in the first Bushnell/Golfweek NJCAA DI Coaches Poll of the spring, receiving 36 points.

New Mexico is in the top spot with 69 points, followed by Hutchinson (Kansas) at No. 2 with 57 points and Midland (Texas) at No. 3 with 40 points..

Other Texas schools in the poll: Western Texas, No. 5, 35 points; and Odessa, No. 9, 21 points. Tyler and Ranger are receiving votes. All the Texas schools compete in the NJCAA South Central District along with New Mexico.
