Highlander Golf No. 7 in Bushnell poll

The McLennan Highlanders are No. 7 in the latest Bushnell/Golfweek NJCAA DI Coaches Poll, receiving 34 points.

Hutchinson (Kansas) is No. 1 with 77 points, followed by New Mexico at No. 2 with 75 points and Western Texas at No. 3 with 55 points.

Other Texas schools in the poll: Midland, No. 4, 45 points; Ranger, No. 9, 21 points; and Odessa, No. 10, 13 points.  All the Texas schools compete in the NJCAA District 2 along with New Mexico.
