Highlander Golf moves up in Bushnell poll

The McLennan Highlanders jumped two spots to a tie for No. 7 in the latest Bushnell/Golfweek NJCAA DI Coaches Poll, receiving 17 points.

New Mexico moved into the top spot with 48 points, followed by Hutchinson (Kansas), down one spot to No. 2, with 47 points. Midland and Dodge City are tied at No. 3 with 36 points.

Other Texas schools in the poll: Odessa, up one spot to No. 6, 23 points; Western Texas, down one spot to a tie at No. 7, 17 points; and Ranger, remaining at No. 10, 7 points. Tyler is receiving votes.
