Highlanders claim Oakwood Intercollegiate co-championship
The McLennan Highlanders shot 294-281-280 – 855 to finish tied for first place with Indian Hills with 286-280-289 – 855 at the Oakwood Intercollegiate in Enid, Oklahoma. McLennan was awarded the championship trophy based on the tiebreaker.
Hutchinson finished in third place with with 292-285-287 – 864, followed by Sterling in fourth with 299-287-293 – 879 and Indian Hills B in fifth with 298-287-297 – 882.
Robert Gonzalez shot 70-70-69 – 209 to lead the Highlanders and finish tied for first place.
