Highlanders earn conference and region honors

Four members of the McLennan men's golf squad earned North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference awards based on their performance at the Region V Championship earlier this week.
 
Luke Beckman was named First-Team All-Conference and All-Region V. The sophomore from San Antonio shot 75-70-71 – 216 to finish tied for eighth place.
 
Sophomores Robert Gonzalez, Abe Bignell and Aiden Page were all named Second-Team All-Conference. Gonzalez, also from San Antonio, finished tied for 10th with 78-66-73 – 217. Bignell, from Kent, England, and Page, from Spring Branch, Texas, finished tied for 14th place with 73-76-69 – 218 and 74-75-69 – 218, respectively.
