Highlanders climb to No. 3 in coaches’ poll

The McLennan men's golf squad climbed three spots to No. 3 in the final Bushnell/Golfweek NJCAA Division I Coaches' Poll.

Indian Hills (Iowa) and Odessa (Texas) remain at No. 1 and No. 2, respectively. Weatherford (Texas) and Central Alabama slipped one spot each to No. 4 and No.5, respectively.

Other Texas teams ranked: Midlands slipping two spots to a tie at No. 6; and Tyler, slipping one spot to No. 10. Blinn is receiving votes.

The Highlanders will compete in the NJCAA Division I National Championship May 12-15 at Sand Creek Station in Newton, Kansas.
