McLennan softball team ranked in preseason poll

The McLennan Community College softball team is ranked 15th in the NJCAA Division I Softball Preseason Top 20 Rankings released today.

Wallace State sits in first place, followed by Indian River State in second and Northeastern Oklahoma A&M in third.

North Central Texas at 17th is the only other Region V North opponent to make the poll. Howard (fifth), Galveston (seventh), Odessa (10th) and Navarro (13th) round out the Texas schools in the poll.
