The McLennan Highlassies swept the Ranger Lady Rangers today at Bosque River Ballpark.
McLennan shut out Ranger 8-0 in six innings of game one with Ashley Mills getting the win in the circle. Courtney Mica led the Highlassies at the plate going 2-2 with a triple and four RBIs. Abby White hit a double, and Alyssa Reyes and Darian Sanchez both recorded an RBI.
The Highlassies defeated the Rangers 4-2 in the nightcap with Stacey Underwood getting the win and Mills picking up the save. Taylor Davis' double was the only extra-base hit for McLennan. Jessica Garcia and Sevanah Campos both picked up an RBI.
The Highlassies continue conference play on Saturday, hosting Hill for a 1 p.m. doubleheader.
