McLennan softball drops in NJCAA poll

The McLennan Community College softball team dropped five spots to 18th in the latest Marucci Sports Division I Softball Preseason Rankings released today by the NJCAA. 
 
Central Florida remains in first place, followed by Salt Lake (Utah) in second and Seminole State (Florida) in third. Midland (Texas) and Indian River State (Florida) sit in fourth and fifth, respectively.

Temple (20th) is the only other Region V North team to make the poll. Blinn (10th), Odessa (12th) and Tyler (16th) round out the Texas schools in the poll. Galveston is receiving votes.

The Highlassies have an overall record of 22-9 and are 6-4 in conference play.
