McLennan softball moves up in NJCAA poll

The McLennan Community College softball team moved up one spot to 17th in the latest Marucci Sports Division I Softball Rankings released today by the NJCAA. 
 
Central Florida remains in first place, followed by Salt Lake (Utah) in second and Midland (Texas) in third. Indian River State (Florida) and Southern Idaho sit in fourth and fifth, respectively.

Temple (19th) is the only other Region V North team to make the poll. Blinn (eighth), Odessa (11th), Tyler (14th) and Galveston (20th) round out the Texas schools in the poll.

The Highlassies have an overall record of 24-9 and are 8-4 in conference play.
