McLennan softball holding steady in NJCAA poll
The McLennan Community College softball team remains 17th in the latest Marucci Sports Division I Softball Rankings released yesterday by the NJCAA.
Central Florida remains in first place, followed by Salt Lake (Utah) in second and Indian River State (Florida) in third. Southern Idaho and Chattanooga State (Tennessee) sit in fourth and fifth, respectively.
Temple dropped one spot to 20th and is the only other Region V North team to make the poll. Midland (sixth), Blinn (10th), Odessa (12th), Tyler (14th) and Howard (16th) round out the Texas schools in the poll. Galveston is receiving votes.
The Highlassies have an overall record of 29-10 and are 13-5 in conference play.
