The McLennan Highlassies swept Wednesday's conference doubleheader with the Cisco Lady Wranglers in Cisco.

McLennan defeated Cisco 13-8 in game one with Ashley Mills getting the win in the circle. Danielle Gregory was hot at the plate, hitting two home runs. Marisa Flores hit a double and a home run, and drove in four runs. Aubri Hockenbury also doubled and homered, and drove in two RBIs. Andrea Gonzales, Summer Dolezel and Estrella Guardiola had an RBI each. Guardiola recorded a double, while Cheyenne Bell recorded a double and two RBIs.

Mercedes Covey picked up the 5-0 shutout win for the Highlassies in the nightcap, allowing just one hit. Flores went 3-4 with a double, while Gonzales hit two doubles and recorded an RBI. Kaymee Gooden picked up two RBIs and Bell picked up an RBI on two hits.

McLennan will face Temple in a conference doubleheader at noon on Friday in Temple.
