McLennan softball moves up in NJCAA poll

The McLennan Community College softball team jumped six spots to 12th in the latest Marucci Sports Division I Softball Rankings released today by the NJCAA.
 
Salt Lake (Utah) moved into first place, followed by Central Florida in second and Southern Idaho in third. Midland (Texas) and Wallace State (Alabama) sit in fourth and fifth, respectively.

Temple moved up to 16th and is the only other Region V North team to make the poll. Blinn (10th), Howard (11th) and Odessa (20th) round out the Texas schools in the poll. Tyler is receiving votes.

The Highlassies have an overall record of 35-11 and are 19-6 in conference play.
