McLennan softball moves up in NJCAA poll

The McLennan Community College softball team moved up two spots to sixth in the latest Marucci Sports Division I Softball Rankings released today by the NJCAA. 

Central Florida remains in first place, followed by Tyler (Texas) in second and Salt Lake (Utah) in third. Northwest Florida State and Indian River State (Florida) round out the top five.

Howard (10th), Galveston (11th), Angelina (15th), Blinn (18th) and Grayson (20th) round out the Texas schools in the poll. 

The Highlassies have an overall record of 21-5 and are 8-0 in conference play.
