McLennan softball moves up in NJCAA poll

The McLennan Community College softball team moved up one spot to seventh in the latest Marucci Sports Division I Softball Rankings released today by the NJCAA. 

Central Florida remains in first place, followed by Tyler (Texas) in second, and Indian River State (Florida) in third. Salt Lake (Utah) and Northwest Florida State round out the top five.

McLennan is the only Region V North squad to make the poll. Galveston (eighth) and Angelina (12th) round out the Texas schools in the poll. Blinn, Navarro and Temple are receiving votes.
