McLennan's Klanika named NFCA All-Region selection

McLennan Softball pitcher Emily Klanika has been selected to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) West Region's Second Team announced today. Klanika, a right-hander from Pflugerville, made 29 appearances in the circle during her sophomore season, notching an 18-8 record with a 2.63 ERA and 165 strikeouts. She will play for St. Edward's University next season.
 
NFCA-member head coaches in each NJCAA region nominate and select All-Region players. This season's all-region teams consisted of 98 players from 43 NJCAA schools.
