McLennan Softball moves up to No. 15 in NJCAA poll

The McLennan Softball squad climbed another spot this week to No. 15 in the NJCAA Division I Rankings.
 
The top three teams remained the same this week: Seminole State (Oklahoma), Central Florida and Florida SouthWestern State. Chipola (Florida) moved up two spots to No. 4 this week and Tyler (Texas) fell one spot to No. 5.
 
Howard at No. 11 and San Jacinto-South at No. 16 are the only other Texas schools in the rankings. Trinity Valley is receiving votes.
 
McLennan has an overall record of 15-2 and is 4-0 in conference play. Weather permitting, the squad will travel to Corsicana to face Navarro for a 1 p.m. doubleheader Wednesday before resuming conference play Saturday at Vernon.
