McLennan Softball continues to receive votes in NJCAA poll

For the second consecutive week, the McLennan Softball squad is receiving votes in the NJCAA Division I Softball Rankings.

Florida Southwestern State held on to the top spot, followed by Indian River State (Florida) up one spot to second and Central Florida down one spot to third. Howard (Texas) and Seminole State (Oklahoma) remain fourth and fifth, respectively.

Grayson, a conference opponent of McLennan, moved up one spot this week to eighth. Conference foe Vernon remained at 11th.

McLennan will travel to Eunice, Louisiana, this weekend for a four-game series with LSU-Eunice. The Bengals are 14th in the NJCAA Division II Poll. Action gets underway Friday with a 3 p.m. doubleheader.
