McLennan Softball moves up to No. 6 in rankings

The McLennan Softball squad is up to No. 6 in the latest NJCAA Division I Rankings released today.

The top five teams remained the same: Wallace State-Hanceville, No. 1; Yavapai, No. 2; Florida Southwestern State, No. 3.; Seminole State (Oklahoma), No. 4;  and Odessa, No. 5. 

Conference foes McLennan and Grayson both moved up one spot to No. 6 and 7, respectively, this week and are the only Texas squads in the rankings. Howard is receiving votes.

McLennan continues conference play this week, traveling to Gainesville for a 1 p.m. doubleheader with North Central on Wednesday.
