McLennan Softball No. 7 in NJCAA Rankings

The McLennan Softball squad slipped one spot to No. 7 in the NJCAA Division I Softball Rankings this week.

The top five teams remained the same: Yavapai, No. 1; Florida Southwestern State, No. 2, Wallace State-Hanceville, No. 3; Seminole State (Oklahoma), No. 4 and Odessa, No. 5.

Grayson, a conference opponent of McLennan, fell two spots to No. 9 this week while San Jacinto is receiving votes.

McLennan hosts Cisco in the final home doubleheader of the season Wednesday at Bosque River Ballpark with the first pitch scheduled for 1 p.m.
