McLennan Softball No. 7 in final NJCAA Rankings

The McLennan Softball squad heads into post-season play ranked No. 7 in the final NJCAA Division I Rankings of the season.

Florida Southwestern State jumped into the top spot this week, overtaking Yavapai at No. 2. Wallace State-Hanceville remained at No. 3, followed by Seminole State (Oklahoma) at No. 4 and Odessa at No. 5.

Grayson, a conference and regional opponent of McLennan, moved up one spot to No. 8 this week. Howard and San Jacinto are the two Texas teams receiving votes.

McLennan will face Ranger at 3 p.m. Thursday in the opening round of the Region V North Tournament in Weatherford. All tournament games can be viewed at tsrnsports.com.
